Experiental Education

This plays a role in all areas of the Euro-BBW. Handling new, difficult situations and experiences made as a group develop or improve soft skills and build up self confidence. Below are a few examples of our experiential education activities to date:

• Canoo and kayak trips
• High wire course and climbing: Safety takes top priority during climbing. We only climb tested and registered routes. The specialist equipment is made to the necessary high standard of quality. Our supervising specialists are certified and regularly complete in-service training.
• Night time walks
• Orientation with map and compass through unknown territory
• Archery
• Tours for several days in a foreign country (eg. south France, Sweden, Italy)
• Projects over several months (Group activity completing increasingly difficult tasks with an increasing independence)
